Code of Conduct/Standards of Behaviour


Continuing and Community Education

We are committed to the establishment and maintenance of a positive learning and working environment throughout Renfrew County District School Board. This Code of Conduct is intended to create a climate of mutual respect that recognizes the dignity and worth of every member of the RCDSB community. It is intended to provide secure surroundings in which all members are safe, and feel safe.

You are expected to:  

  • Treat everyone fairly and with respect
  • Promote a positive and comfortable learning environment
  • Commit to our attendance policy of 80%
  • Complete lessons and make continued progress



  • You may not:
  • Threaten anyone's feeling of emotional or physical safety
  • Disrupt the class
  • Carry a real or fake weapon
  • Buy, sell, use, possess or be under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol
  • Steal
  • Damage school property

As a student, you agree that should your conduct not match the RCDSB's Code of Conduct, you will be removed from the Continuing and Community Education Department.  You must contact the Principal of Continuing Education, in order to be considered for reentry into the program.
